Mark is a lawyer working in Piper Alderman's financial services and regulatory practice. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mark gained experience in the financial services industry working as a banking consultant with ANZ.
Mark has experience acting for and advising financial services clients in a variety of areas including regulatory compliance, financial services regulation, Australian Credit Licence (ACL) and Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) applications, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing including preparing and auditing AML/CTF Programs and providing advice on registration, blockchain and privacy law.

Mark graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2020 with a Juris Doctor (Distinction) and is admitted to practice law in New South Wales. Mark also graduated from Deakin University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of International Studies.

Jordan Markezic is a lawyer in the Piper Alderman Financial Services and Fintech Group. He advises on various regulatory issues arising out of the Corporations, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing, National Consumer Credit Protection, Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers, and Privacy Acts. Jordan also has experience advising on banking and finance transactions, including debt financing and general corporate lending.
Jordan has assisted with commercial litigation with respect to competition law breaches and disputes regarding managed investment schemes, and due diligence for corporate merger and acquisition matters.
Jordan is a registered justice of the peace in New South Wales.

Jennifer is a graduate lawyer working in Piper Alderman's financial services and regulatory practice. Prior to joining Piper Alderman, Jennifer gained experience in the private tax advisory and banking and finance space at Deloitte and HWL Ebsworth, respectively.

Jennifer graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2023 with a Bachelor of Commerce/Law (Distinction), majoring in Finance.

Jennifer is currently working towards being admitted in September of 2024.
